VietNamNet Bridge - Viettel, the military-owned mobile service provider, said last week that it had completed negotiations to become a founding share-holder in two Cambodia-based companies.
The development 0f laser microchip is based on an essentially new laser chip using Neodymium doped Lanthanum Scandium Borate Nd3+: LaSC3: (BO3)4 (Nd:LSB) and microlasers with face diode pumping. The new chip allows to produce active elements for solid-state lasers having the minimal thickness of 150 microns. The multivanant design of laser microchips allows to make microlasers, radiating in infra- red (1062 nm) or green (531 nm) ranges and operating in continuous or pulse mode. ln a wide range of pumping power of 0.3 to 1.5W the microlasers with active elements based on Nd:LSB chips allow to obtain the differential efficiency of 65%. It is close to the apparent limit of 76%.
